I became a mother in 2015 to my amazing son. This journey is what began my interest in birthwork. I was planning a homebirth, but as my pregnancy progressed into 42 weeks, I was forced to transfer to the hospital for an induction. Although my labor was swift, I was left alone with a roller coaster of emotions. Through this experience, I found my passion for birthwork and made it my mission to ensure that every family has the birth story they deserve. I became a certified doula through Alzeti Doula Services in September 2023. In August 2024, I became a student midwife and am currently enrolled at the National Midwifery Institute.
